Khenpo Appey Yönten Zangpo (T. mkhan po a pad yon tan bzang po མཁན་པོ་ཨ་པད་ཡོན་ཏན་བཟང་པོ་) (1927-2010) was a leading scholar of the Sakya school of Tibetan Buddhism. His primary places of study were the shedra at Serjong Monastery and later the shedra at Dzongsar Monastery, both located in the Dergé district of East Tibet.

He studied the Bodhisattvacaryavatara with many eminent masters of his time.

He was a tutor to the 41st Sakya Trizin and helped to establish the Sakya College in Sikkhim, India in 1972, where he was the principle teacher until 1985.

In 2001, he established the International Buddhist Academy (IBA), in the Boudhanath district of Kathmandu, Nepal.
