Guṇamati (T. yon tan blo gros ཡོན་ཏན་བློ་གྲོས་) (5th century C.E.). An Indian scholar and author of several commentaries.
Two of his commentaries are preserved in the Tibetan Tengyur:[1][2]
- Vyākhyāyukti-ṭīkā - a commentary on Vasubandhu's Vyākhyāyukti (Well Explained Reasoning)
- Pratītyasamutpādādivibhaṅganirdeśaṭīkā - an extensive sub-commentary on Vasubandhu's Pratītyasamutpādavyākhyā
Among commentaries which have not survived are a commentary on the Treasury of Abhidharma and another on the Root Verses on the Wisdom of the Middle Way.[1]
